This is a of Hone-bami Toshiro, a famous wakizashi by the renowned swordsmith Awataguchi Yoshimitsu. Planned and sold by Musha-dokoro (Azusa-an), and crafted by traditional artisans in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, a town famous nationwide for its cutlery! As you can see, this is a high-quality artistic that will surely be cherished by its owner for a long time.

As those familiar with Japanese will know, this piece is not a perfect of the Important Cultural Property Naginata Naoshi-gata Mumei Yoshimitsu (Famous Hone-bami Toshiro). The shape of the tip and overall dimensions have been adapted from the original. The original carving of Fudo Myo-o with a dragon and flames is said to have been enhanced with silver Kyoto maki-e lacquer for a raised effect.

This masterpiece, which took four years to complete before its release, is truly exceptional.
